Following is the statement:—
State Grants are available under section 2 of the Housing (Loans and Grants) Act, 1962 as follows:—

An additional £10 is payable in each case where a house is erected by a public utility society and occupied by one of its members.
Special rates of grants as set out hereunder are payable to persons in occupation of land, who are in need of rehousing, for the erection of houses commenced on or after 1st October, 1963, in rural areas for their own occupation:—
(i) who derive their livelihood solely or mainly from the pursuit of agriculture,
or
(ii) who would otherwise be eligible for rehousing by the local authority.
