Vol. 215 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Sligo Water Supply.

27.

asked the Minister for Local Government when a water supply will be provided for the people of Calry, County Sligo, as lack of water is causing severe hardship to those people; from what source the supply will be taken; and if there are plans to provide a supply to the whole parish.

I am not in a position to say when a new water supply scheme will be provided for Calry. I understand that the consulting engineer's preliminary report for a scheme for Calry-Kiltycahill areas based on the existing spring source for the present Calry supply and on another spring source at Keelogyboy is at present being examined by the council's technical staff.
