Vol. 215 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Sewerage Scheme.

29.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the grave discontent at present existing in the village of Brooklodge, Glanmire, County Cork, owing to the lack of a sewerage scheme in the village; and if, in view of the fact that a piped water supply passes through the village and that there is a sewer already at Riverstown only a quarter of a mile away, he will take steps to see that a proper sewerage scheme for this area is provided without further delay.

I am not so aware. The formulation of a proposal for a sewerage scheme for this area would be a matter for the Cork County Council.
