Vol. 216 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Glanmire (Cork) Schools.

5.

Mr. Barrett

asked the Minister for Finance if he is in a position to state why work has ceased on the provision of water for flush toilets in the Glanmire schools, County Cork; and if he can indicate when work will be recommenced.

A grant towards the cost of toilets was sanctioned by the Department of Education in December 1964. In February 1965, the Manager notified the Commissioners of Public Works that a well had been bored on the school site. The contract drawings and specification for the building works are almost completed, and tenders will be invited within the next ten days.
