asked the Minister for Education whether he proposes to take steps to extend the hours of opening of the National Museum on weekdays so as to enable the citizens of Dublin to visit that institution after their working hours.

Arrangements have been made to keep the National Museum open until 9 p.m. on Wednesdays during the summer months. This arrangement will operate as from Wednesday next 9th June and will be reviewed towards the end of the summer period.
