Vol. 216 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin House Prices.

57.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the present position of the inquiry into the price of houses in Dublin; and when a report is expected.

The Prices Advisory Committee appointed to inquire into the prices charged for houses at Blackbanks, Raheny, Dublin, by Lawrence-McBratney (Building) Company Ltd have, within the past few days, submitted their report to me and it is under consideration in my Department.

Could the Minister give any indication at this stage when he hopes to be in a position to make a public statement in the matter?

Quite soon.

Next week?

Possibly. I have to consider it more fully.
