NOTE: In addition a milk production allowance of 2d. per gallon up to 1st May, 1964, and 4d. per gallon thereafter was paid from the Exchequer to creameries on all milk received for processing. These payments are equivalent to 42/8d. and 85/4d., respectively, per cwt. of butter.
