Vol. 217 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Telephone Kiosks.

37.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that the residents of Glencullen, County Dublin are most anxious to have a public telephone kiosk near Glencullen cross roads; and if he will arrange for the provision of a kiosk there as soon as possible.

The use likely to be made of a kiosk in the area in question would not be sufficient to justify its provision.

38.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that the residents of Kilternan, County Dublin are most anxious to have a public telephone kiosk in the vicinity of the Wayside Church; and, if so, if he will make the necessary arrangements for its provision.

This village already has a public telephone which is not heavily used. The provision of additional facilities would not be warranted.
