Vol. 217 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rathcoole (Dublin) School.

11.

asked the Minister for Finance when the building of the new national school in Rathcoole, County Dublin will be completed.

The Deputy will recall that he was informed in reply to a previous question in February last that the contractor's progress with the erection of this school was unsatisfactory. In the meantime considerable improvement has been effected by the contractor and I am now advised that the school will be completed by the end of August.

Could the Parliamentary Secretary give an assurance that this school will be completed in time for occupation after the holidays, if necessary, by using direct labour?

I am assured the school will be ready by the end of August.

This has been going on for years.
