Vol. 217 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Personation Prosecution.

28.

Mr. Barrett

asked the Minister for Justice if criminal proceedings are to be taken in a case of alleged personation or attempted personation, arising out of events at the general election in Cork city on the 7th April last; and, if so, the reasons for the delay in the prosecution of the case.

The Garda received the directions of the law officers in this matter recently. I understand that the case is due for hearing early next month.
