asked the Minister for Finance if it is possible to have the work of drainage on the Ballyfinboy river, Cloughjordan, County Tipperary, undertaken.

The Ballyfinboy catchment has been noted for consideration in the intermediate rivers drainage programme, but I cannot say when it will be reached in that programme.

andMr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Finance the present position in relation to the drainage of the Tolka river.

The Tolka River is No. 27 on the priority list of minor catchments for treatment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945. It will be some years yet before it can be reached in the arterial drainage programme.
