Vol. 217 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wages of State Farm Workers.

64.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the manner in which the National Wages Agreement, providing for an increase of 12 per cent with a floor of £1, was applied to employees in the Department's experimental stations; and the operative date and revised rate of wages applicable to each grade at each of the stations.

I assume that the question relates to my Department's research centres at Abbotstown and Backweston.

The National Wage Agreement was fully implemented in respect of the employees concerned at these centres.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a table giving the information asked for in the second part of the question.
