I understand that the progress of this project rests on decisions to be taken by the promoters. I have no information, at present, as to when the industry will be established.
Is the Minister aware that the site has been granted to these people for the past two years and that it is now well known in the city of Galway that the industry will not be established at all?
As I said, progress will depend on the decisions made by the promoters. This is not a State industry.
There is no progress.
Why should that be a matter for Parliament? It is a private decision.
Public money is involved.
Not if they do not set it up.
The Government have no money.
