Vol. 217 No. 11

Additional Estimate. - Vote 14—Secret Service.

I move:

That a sum not exceeding £5,500 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1966, for Secret Service.

God be with the old days when we would have a debate for two days on the Secret Service.

Is the number of the secret servants not secret?

I do not know if there is any such person as a secret servant.

Are we getting some value for this?

I am sure we would not continue paying it unless there was some value in it.

Vote put and agreed to.
