Vol. 218 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dingle Harbour Scheme.

162.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the present position regarding the proposed improvement scheme for Dingle Harbour; the cause of the present delay in putting such scheme into effect; and the date it is expected that the scheme will be completed.

A boring and sampling survey of the sea bed sub-strata is necessary before detailed proposals for the development of the harbour can be formulated. Pending the result of such investigations, it is not possible to say when any works approved are likely to be carried out.
