Vol. 218 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Compensation for Destroyed Crops.

130.

Mr. Barrett

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will consider inserting in orders made for the removal or destruction of crops under section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests (Consolidation) Act, 1958, an intimation that the recipient has rights to payment of compensation under section 4 of the Act.

The Deputy's suggestion will be considered where individual notices are issued pursuant to section 3 for the removal or destruction of crops.
