Vol. 218 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Flooding.

17.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to clear the River Eany in County Donegal in view of the flood damage being caused in the catchment area.

Clearing of the River Eany could be carried out by the Office of Public Works only by way of a scheme under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945. The catchment has been noted for consideration in the drainage programme but I cannot say when it may be reached.
