Vol. 218 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Public Conveniences in County Galway.

24.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has sanctioned the erection of public conveniences for Clifden, Cleggan, Leanane, Clonbur, Oughterard and Spiddal, County Galway; and, if so, when he expects work will start on them.

Preliminary plans for the provision of a public sanitary convenience at Clifden were submitted to my Department by Galway County Council for approval on 20th October, 1965, and are at present under examination. No proposals for the provision of conveniences at Cleggan, Leanane, Clonbur, Oughterard and Spiddal have been submitted. I understand, however, that preliminary plans for conveniences at these places are being prepared by the county council.
