Vol. 218 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - South Tipperary Water Scheme.

9.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Local Government why he is delaying sanction to South Tipperary County Council to raise a loan of £53,000 to provide a water extension from Ballinure Cross to the county boundary etc. and other small schemes.

Tipperary (SR) County Council's application for a loan for these direct labour water supply extensions is at present under consideration. I am not in a position to say when sanction will be accorded to the loan.
