asked the Minister for Finance the amount of the winter relief or Christmas relief grant which will be provided this year by his Department to the Dún Laoghaire Corporation; and the estimated number which will be employed on the relief scheme.

A grant of £3,000, subject to a local contribution of £750, making a total of £3,750, has been allocated to Dún Laoghaire Corporation for employment schemes in the Borough for the 1965-66 winter period. It is estimated that the schemes will give about 220 man-weeks employment, equivalent to, say, 18 men for a period of 12 weeks.

The following employment schemes grants have been allocated to Dublin County Council for areas in the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Constituency:
