Vol. 218 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - South Tipperary Water Scheme.

22.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state, in regard to the application of South Tipperary County Council to raise a loan of £53,000 to provide a water extension from Ballinure Cross to the county boundary, etc. and other small schemes, why he is not in a position to say when sanction will be given to the loan.

Tipperary (SR) County Council's application for a loan of £53,000 to finance these water supply extensions is at present being examined and until this examination has been completed I will not be in a position to say when sanction will be given to the loan.

(South Tipperary) The credit squeeze.
