asked the Minister for Transport and Power what is the present tanker tonnage of Irish Shipping Limited; and where the vessels are operating.

The present tanker tonnage of Irish Shipping Limited consists of two tankers of a total deadweight tonnage of 21,330 tons.

The "Irish Holly" of 3,350 dead-weight tons is on time charter and is operating in coastal and cross-channel trade.

The "Irish Hawthorn" of 17,980 deadweight tons is at present on time charter operating in the Baltic Sea.

Is it proposed to add to the tonnage?

No, not at present.
