Vol. 219 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Protective Clothing for Forestry Workers.

62.

asked the Minister for Lands the number of waterproof coats and pairs of waders supplied to forestry workers in the Rathnavogue area, Roscrea, County Tipperary during the past 18 months.

It is not the practice of the Forestry Division of my Department to supply waterproof coats to forestry workers. Rubber boots or waders are supplied to forest workers working in water or on waterlogged ground.

Apparently it is the practice of the Government to give five coats for 13 ushers in this House.
