The total net receipt from turnover tax from 1st January, 1965, to 26th November, 1965, was £12,885,000 approximately.
As turnover tax chargeable in respect of transactions in any month is normally payable in the following month, the figure given represents the approximate amount paid in respect of transactions in the eleven months ended 31st October, 1965.
