I approved of contract documents for the proposed water supply scheme at Oola on 25th May, 1965. I understand that the acquisition of land for the reservoir has not yet been completed. Amended contract documents for the proposed sewerage scheme are under examination. I am not in a position to say when a decision thereon will be conveyed to the council.
Loan applications for both schemes are under consideration.
They will remain so until the crisis is over.
