Vol. 220 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tipperary-Waterford Unemployed.

1.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state the number of persons signing at each of the local employment exchanges in Clonmel, Tipperary town, Cashel, Carrick-on-Suir, Killenaule, Fethard, Cahir, Lismore, Cappoquin and Tallow at the first available date in (a) November (b) December and (c) January in each of the past five years.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the numbers on the Live Register for the dates in question at the local offices specified in so far as they are available. Separate figures are not available for Killenaule, Fethard, Cappoquin and Tallow which have no local offices. Killenaule and Fethard are included under the Clonmel local office and Cappoquin and Tallow under that of Lismore.

Following is the statement:—
