Vol. 220 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Anglo-Irish Free Trade Agreement.

1.

Mr. O'Leary

asked the Taoiseach whether it is proposed to hold further consultations with the British Government on the Anglo-Irish Free Trade Agreement before June; what Departments will be concerned in these discussions; the venues and dates of any such meetings; and whether any Irish Ministers will attend.

Formal consultations before June next with the British Government in relation to the Free Trade Area Agreement are not at present contemplated. It is probable, however, that between now and June a need may arise for some discussion on matters of detail in regard to the implementation of the Agreement.
