A grant of £6,600 has been sanctioned for improvement works at the landing place, Inishbarra Island, County Galway. The Commissioners of Public Works have recently sent to the Galway County Council a plan, specification and agreement regarding the proposed works. It is expected that the works will be commenced in April.
