(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Finance if he will give in respect of past five calendar years the annual figure for (a) Central Government borrowing, (b) independent borrowing by local authorities from sources other than the Government, (c) borrowing by semi-State concerns from sources other than the Government, and (d) the total of these borrowings as a percentage of the GNP for each year.

As the answer is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.
