Vol. 220 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Coachford (Cork) Garda Station.

47.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will make arrangements to have extra gardaí stationed at Coachford Garda station, County Cork.

I have been informed by the Commissioner, Garda Síochána, that a garda is being transferred to Coachford within the coming week. This will bring the station up to its full strength of one sergeant and two gardaí which is considered adequate for police supervision of the area.

Did he do anything wrong?

Why is there a need for an extra garda in Coachford?

Deputy Meaney got notice of it.

Deputy Meaney is proving himself a very efficient Deputy.

When you passed him the little note beforehand.
