Vol. 221 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Derrybeg (Donegal) School.

79.

asked the Minister for Education what is the reason for the delay in building a new school at Derrybeg, County Donegal; whether the school was advertised for tender; and if so, if it is proposed to accept one of the tenders received therefor.

There has been no avoidable delay in the arrangements for the building of a new national school at Derrybeg, County Donegal.

The school has not yet been advertised for tender. I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that certain requirements have still to be attended to at local level before tenders can be invited. The Commissioners are in touch with the Reverend Manager regarding these requirements.
