Vol. 221 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Post Office Facilities.

48.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, as the post office in Clare Street, Limerick has been closed for some time, he will state what steps he proposes to take to provide substitute facilities.

The letter-box at the site of the former sub-office has been retained as well as a nearby telephone kiosk. In view of the small amount of business which was transacted at the sub-office and as there is another sub-office within half a mile the provision of additional facilities is not warranted.
