Vol. 221 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 6, 5—No. 5 to be taken with No. 6—7 and in 7, Votes 40, 39 and 47. It is proposed to interrupt business between 6 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. to take Private Members' Business.

In view of the fact that tonight will be the last night on which Private Members' Business. will be taken, would the House agree to allow No. 13 to be concluded tonight?

There are two hours and 40 minutes left.

Time will be allowed on the next sitting day to conclude the motion.

That would be after the Budget. The motion refers specifically to the Budget.

In that case, there will be plenty time to talk about it.

It could be late. If the House is agreeable the Labour Party are prepared to conclude tonight.

In the hour and a half?

That is all right.

Might I inquire from the Taoiseach in connection with the information he gave yesterday, qualified somewhat by the Minister for Finance, if the statistics which will be made available prior to the Budget will be the latest available?

Yes. Of course, the Deputy will appreciate it will not be possible for the final figures for the financial year to be given——

I appreciate that.

——but estimates will be available.
