asked the Minister for Local Government if he will approve of a 30 miles per hour speed limit at Rosslare Strand in good time for the commencement of the holiday season in view of the greatly increased resident population during that time.

34.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the urgency of having speed limits at Coachford, Crookstown, Boherbue, Ballydesmond, Kiskeam and Millstreet, County Cork before the tourist season starts; and what action it is proposed to take in the matter.

35.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the need for establishing speed limits in the towns of Kanturk and New-market, County Cork; and what action it is proposed to take in the matter.

I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 33, 34 and 35 together.

Speed limits on all roads in counties Cork and Wexford will be reviewed this year and, in the course of this review, the desirability of applying speed limits to roads in the towns and villages mentioned in these questions will be considered.
