Vol. 221 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Display of Irish Goods in Paris.

6.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if his attention was directed to a recent report commenting on the unsatisfactory display in the Irish House, Paris; and if he has any comment to make on the matter.

I have seen the newspaper article in question. Bord Fáilte have, however, informed me that their premises in Paris including the window front are at present being reconstructed and an entirely satisfactory display will not be possible until reconstruction work has been completed. I have asked Bord Fáilte to investigate the matter and to remove the exhibit if it is seriously below standard.
