Vol. 221 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Social Welfare Inquiry Office.

36.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he is aware of public dissatisfaction with the accommodation at the social welfare inquiry office at Gardiner Street, Dublin; and if he will take steps to have this accommodation made suitable for persons who have to attend there.

My Department's office in Gardiner Street is an employment exchange for men living on the north side of the city. The accommodation in the building is adequate for the volume of business transacted there and I am not aware of any public dissatisfaction with this accommodation. If, however, the Deputy is aware of complaints about this office, I shall have them investigated if he will let me have particulars.

There are many.
