My Department has agreed in principle to the establishment of a special school for mildly mentally handicapped children in Cashel, County Tipperary, and is in correspondence with the County Tipperary Association for Mentally Handicapped Children regarding the question of a suitable site, accommodation, etc. for the proposed school.
