asked the Minister for Local Government when he received for sanction a negotiated tender for an additional 13 houses at the Bulfin Road housing scheme, Nenagh, County Tipperary; and if, in view of the danger that the contractor may start work elsewhere if sanction is not given immediately and in view of the urgent need for these homes, he will take steps to sanction this contract without further delay.

This proposal was received on 26th January last and is under consideration with other similar proposals at present before my Department. A decision will be given as soon as possible.
