asked the Minister for Finance what is the present pension and allowance, if any, of an ex-President.

In accordance with section 3 of the Presidential Establishment Act, 1938, a person who, having held the office of President, ceases to hold office for any reason other than death or removal from office under Article 12 (10) of the Constitution, is entitled to a pension of £1,200 a year.
