Vol. 221 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Payment of Housing Grant.

24.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that a person (name supplied) has his dwellinghouse completed but that it has not yet been inspected for payment of the first instalment of his grant; and if he will make arrangements to have this inspection carried out.

The application for a grant in this case was made through a building society. The house was inspected on 10th November, 1965, and a grant instalment of £200 was paid on 8th December, 1965, to the building society. Final inspection was carried out on 8th March, 1966, and arrangements are now being made for payment of the outstanding balance to the society.
