Vol. 221 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Licensed Hauliers in Connemara.

12.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power whether there are any licensed hauliers in Connemara, County Galway.

There are five licensed hauliers in Connemara, that is west of a line drawn from Galway to Clonbur. In addition CIE has depots at Galway and Clifden.

Full information about all merchandise licenses issued under the Road Transport Acts is contained in the Statutory Register of Merchandise Licences prescribed by Section 29 of the Road Transport Act, 1933, and which is open to inspection in my Department at all reasonable times.
