NOTE: The figures in Column (1) do not include loan charges amounting to approximately £400,000 per annum on capital grants paid from the Transitional Development Fund and the Vote for Local Government in the period 1946-47 to 1955-56 (inclusive).

Could the Minister not read them out?

I could read them out but I would not make much of a job of it. There are two columns, all of which are of at least four figures, plus the years as well as various headings, subheadings and footnotes.

In light of the figure supplied would the Minister agree that council house tenants are less of a burden on the State than owner-occupiers?

The Deputy had better give me notice of that.
