Vol. 222 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dividend Warrants on Exchequer Loans.

42.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that the Post Office Savings Bank through sub-post offices will not accept for lodgment in savings bank accounts to a depositor's credit dividend warrants on exchequer loans issued in the depositor's name; and if he will have the matter remedied forthwith.

Post offices have now been instructed that dividend warrants on exchequer loans may continue to be accepted for lodgment in savings bank accounts during the bank closure.
