Vol. 223 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment Injuries.

34.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of the most recent year for which figures are available the expenditure by his Department under the Disabled Persons (Rehabilitation) Regulations, 1963, made under section 50 of the Health Act, 1953, in relation to persons suffering from employment injuries.

Mr. O'Malley

Inquiries have been made from each Health Authority in relation to the year 1965-66 and if the Deputy would repeat the question in a fortnight, I would hope to be able to supply the information sought.

To save the Minister trouble, is he aware if any money was expended at all?

Mr. O'Malley

Yes.

Is the Minister sure?

Mr. O'Malley

Yes.

The Minister would be surprised. I shall repeat the question in less than a fortnight in case the Minister will not be there.
