I am aware that An Bord Iascaigh Mhara have been in communication with a few fishing skippers in Arklow who have fallen very seriously into arrears in their hire-purchase repayments on fishing boats acquired from the Board. This is a matter solely between the Board and the skippers concerned, and I understand that negotiations are, in fact, proceeding between them.
