Vol. 223 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 2, 13, 14, 15, 3, 16 and 17. It is proposed to interrupt public business at 6.30 p.m. to take Nos. 16 and 17, and to resume the order at 7.30 p.m.

What about the sittings for the remainder of the week?

I gather there is a meeting of the Whips this afternoon.

Our Whip knows nothing about it.

It was your Whip who asked for the meeting.

We asked for the meeting on Thursday afternoon and we have heard nothing since. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

That does not apply on our side.

Apparently it does, since it is your people who are supposed to fix it.

Mr. O'Malley

We thought you were away.
