Vol. 223 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Cottages.

33.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the present position regarding the obtaining by Kerry County Council of a Land Commission site at Inch, Annascaul, County Kerry, for the building of cottages; and the reasons for the delay in finalising this matter.

There is no delay whatever on the part of the Land Commission. Last August the Commission offered to sell an area comprising about 5½ acres in the Inch district of County Kerry to the county council for development. The offer was accepted and the Land Commission are now awaiting completion of the necessary purchase agreement by the council.
