A scheme submitted by Tipperary (SR) County Council, under their current main road improvement grant, for reconstruction work on the bridge in Well Road, Carrick-on-Suir which is intended to relieve the flooding mentioned by the Deputy, was approved in principle by me on 18th August last. The submission of detailed plans for the execution of the work by the county council is awaited.
