Vol. 224 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Edenderry (Offaly) Housing.

12.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the serious shortage of houses in Edenderry, County Offaly; and when it is proposed to have houses provided so that the town's housing requirements may be met.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to his question of 31st March last on the subject. I am awaiting the submission by the housing authority of their proposals. I understand that an amended layout plan for a 40 house scheme is at present under consideration by their technical advisers.
