Vol. 224 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Old Age Pensioners.

16.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare what is the latest available total number of old age pensioners resident in County Dublin, excluding Dublin city and Dún Laoghaire; and how many of these have authorised third parties to collect their pensions regularly.

The latest figures compiled show 2,464 old age non-contributory pensioners and 1,987 old age contributory pensioners in County Dublin. Dún Laoghaire is included, as separate figures are not maintained for that area.

No record is kept of the number of pensioners who have authorised agents to collect their pensions.
